Its uncluttered and pleasing appearance and its elegant simplicity have turned the 035 preamplifier into one of the favorite products in the Classic Line. The Burmester designed X-Amp amplifier stages are part of the basic configuration of the 035. Most of them operate symmetrically in Class A and are entirely based on DC coupling. This allowed the sound qualities of the preamplifiers in the Reference Line and the Top Line to find their way into the 035.
