The 3rd Anniversary of "Audiomaniac Get-together"

"Audiomaniac Get-together" celebrated its 3rd anniversary at Cinema 2 of the Sunbeam Theatre, North Point at 3 p.m. on Saturday, 19th September 2015. Richcoln Company Limited is honoured to have taken part in the event as one of the sponsors.

 

"Audiomaniac Get-together" is a rare audiophile forum presented by Digital Broadcasting Corporation. Every Saturday evening, between 7 and 9 p.m., music lovers and audiophiles gather together at the DBC studio happily share their views and experience in harnessing their Hi-Fi systems. They are almost unaware that this has already been the third year since its presentation.

 

This memorable event featured live performances by some of Hong Kong's most promising singers, presentations of world-renowned brands by  reputable audio distributors and introduction of sought-after AV products and current market trends by local reviewers and audio critics. Mr. Johnny Au of Richcoln was invited to give a talk on the history of PMC, its founders Peter Thomas and the late Adrian Loader, and how PMC soared to international fame by supplying the best active monitor speakers specifically to studios, broadcasting stations and record companies. Among PMC's clients are Sony Studios in New York City, Wonderland Studios, Metropolis Studios in West London, Deutsche Grammophon (DGG), Decca, Harmonia Mundi, Teldec, etc., where the BB5/XBD-A are used throughout. The event ended at 6 p.m. in a hilarious atmosphere. We sincerely hope that "Audiomaniac Get-together" will continue to accompany music lovers and audiophiles towards Hi-Fi perfection.
