PMC supports the Teenage Cancer Trust concerts at the Royal Albert Hall

PMC, manufacturer of studio monitors and hi-fi loudspeakers, is proud to be associated with the 2011 Teenage Cancer Trust concerts, taking place between 21 and 27 March at London’s legendary Royal Albert Hall. By supplying two pairs of its studio monitors for the mixing and recording of the series of concerts, PMC is helping the charity to save money, enabling more funds to be directed towards the essential work that the trust does to help young people afflicted with cancer.

The company will be supplying two pairs of its AML2 monitors - recently used to mix the Elton John and Leon Russell ‘The Union’ album - for use by the mixing and recording engineers who will be working behind the scenes at the RAH. Recording engineer, Gareth Johnston (Suede, Natalie Imbruglia, Noel Gallagher, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra) will be using the AML2s for the mixing and post production work on each night’s concert, ready for use by the world’s broadcasters the next day.

Started by Roger Daltrey CBE in 2000, the Teenage Cancer Trust concerts have become a major fixture of the Royal Albert Hall’s calendar. Over the course of seven nights a variety of artists such as Editors, Squeeze, The Feeling, Biffy Clyro and Tinie Tempah will be performing to sell out audiences. Roger Daltrey will be performing The Who’s ‘Tommy’ rock opera on the Wednesday night.
