Terms of Warranty

1.   To ensure the timely provision of our maintenance service, the user of this product is requested to complete this warranty form within 30 days of purchase to validate warranty.
2.   In case of product failure under normal use within the warranty period,  Richcoln will provide free repair service including parts and labour from the date of purchase, subsequent to confirmation by our service personnel. Any defective part replaced shall remain the company's property. (This does not apply to commercial products.)
3.   Free repair service under this warranty does not cover:
    (a) routine inspection / adjustment or conversion of any kind (e.g. line operating voltage / frequency or reception frequencies);
    (b) transportation / packing charges and other related charges, which shall be borne by the user of the product under warranty;
    (c) any item on the exterior of the product, accessories (e.g. connectors, cables, remote controls, cabinets, grilles,  panels, racks, chassis components, etc.), normal wear and tear of parts (record/playback heads, pickup cartridges, styluses, mechanical parts, etc.)
4.   An extra transportation fee of HK$ 200 per visit will be charged for on-site service regarding Sherwood and Marquis products.
5.   Our company will not be responsible for any problems, damages or losses due to improper installation and/or installation not performed by our Company’s staff.
6.   This warranty will be void under the following circumstances:
    damages arising from alterations, accident, misuse or abuse, negligence, natural calamities, power interruption or abnormal voltage input and not conforming to those specified in the Owner's manual;
    (b) repairs, modifications or use of substandard parts carried out by person(s) other than our service personnel;
    (c) alteration, defacement or removal of serial numbers;
    (d) provision of the product for commercial and/or rental purposes (except professional or commercial products).
7.   Our company will not be liable for any loss directly or indirectly caused by equipment breakdown.
8.   This maintenance service is applicable to products purchased in Hong Kong and Macau only.
9.   No on-site service shall be provided for Hong Kong’s outlying islands, and the Macau Special Administrative Region. The end user is requested to bring the product to and from our service centre whenever service is needed.
10.   The customer must present a proof of purchase (e.g. the invoice) to our company's technician for warranty service.
11.   This warranty is not transferrable.
12.   Our company reserves the right of final interpretation of the above warranty terms.
