Acoustic Signature of Germany has recently introduced its new products -- the flagship "Invictus" turntable and TA-9000 tonearm.

The new "Invictus" is a belt-driven turntable comprising 497 chassis components, all hand built and assembled in house. The weighty 25-kilogram platter featured a sandwiched construction made of milled aluminium alloy with a solid copper inlay and 54 "Silencer" inserts to cancel out structural and air-borne vibrations. Six 24-pole AC synchronous motors with independent regulated supply are used to drive the sub-platter beneath the platter while advanced digital speed control electronics provides ample power for quick run-up and precise, stable speed. The turntable and its dedicated support weighs 311 kilos! Four tonearms can be installed to accommodate four cartridges for playing back different music genres.

The TA-9000 is a tonearm of static balance design. Two arm tubes, a round tube inside a conical one, are connected by over 700 pads in branch like, spiral form. The structure of this integral arm tube is extremely complicated and incurs an expensive manufacturing process known as "laser sintering". Each arm tube takes one working day to complete. The precision ceramic ball bearing is made by Timken, a U.S. supplier of aero-space components, to ensure zero-play and zero-friction tracking. Precise azimuth adjustment is provided.

All products by Acoustic Signature, including turntables and tonearms, are manufactured and hand assembled in its facility in Germany for best quality assurance.
