PMC playback latest Blu-ray™ titles with The Police and Roxy Music

PMC provided 5.1 surround sound for the British Video Association’s Blu-ray™ music showcase at Metropolis Studios, Chiswick.

PMC’s IB1S 5.1 system, with XB3 subwoofer demonstrated the benefits of Blu-ray™ DVD high definition surround sound capabilities at last week’s event. Several high profile clips were shown such as ‘Roxanne’ from the Blu-ray™ DVD, The Police: Certifiable, and ‘6pm’ from the Strat Pack release; with special quest appearances from Stuart Copeland (The Police) and Phil Manzanera(Roxy Music).

Metropolis Mastering studios, is home to a vast array of PMC’s professional monitoring systems, including the flagship BB5 XBD system. Recent albums mastered on PMC include The Verve ‘Forth’ and the 2008 Mercury Music Prize winning album - Elbow's ‘Seldom Seen Kid’ - mastered by multiple award winning engineer Tim Young.
