THORENS is pushing ahead with the transformation of its range and is presenting the TD 103 A model with a completely redesigned fully automatic turntable. The TD 103 A is the successor of the TD 240-2.

The new THORENS TD 103 A was specially developed for demanding music lovers who do not want to listen without the convenience of a fully automatic machine.
By adapting the surface finishes "black high gloss" and "walnut high gloss", it is possible to clearly represent the brand identity and the values of high sound quality combined with a long lifetime with its typical THORENS designs.
In order not to influence the vinyl playing process, special emphasis was placed on the lowest possible frictional resistance of the mechanical components.
The reworked tonearm TP 19-2 comes with the finest bearing technology. The bearing clearance and the coefficient of friction were significantly reduced by using higher quality bearings compared to its predecessor and the tonearm cables were upgraded by a better design.
The now removable headshell is equipped with a 2M Red from the Danish pickup specialist Ortofon. In addition, a high-quality cinch cable is included in the scope of delivery, which is connected to the likewise new connection terminal of the TD 103 A with gold-plated cinch sockets.
